Located in the heart of Christchurch’s central city, Forte 4 is a contemporary four-level commercial development delivered by Consortium Construction. The project features a ground floor hospitality tenancy that activates the street frontage, while the upper three levels accommodate premium medical tenancies designed to meet the specific needs of healthcare professionals.
Sitting at the corner of Colombo and Kilmore, the building adds to Forte’s presence in the City and features a unique facade made up of perforated aluminium fins covering approximately 405 square meters across the Southern & Western elevations. The geometric pattern of the design is cleverly overlaid against the glazing delivered by (InStile Windows & Doors), effectively creating different sized and shaped windows.
The building has been constructed to a high commercial standard, integrating modern architectural finishes with robust structural systems. Consortium worked closely with project stakeholders to deliver a fit-for-purpose, flexible space that supports long-term functionality and tenant wellbeing, while contributing positively to the urban fabric of Colombo Street.
