Kris Inglis of Riverside Market explains why the Riverside team chose Consortium Construction for their ambitious build of an award-winning $80 million development.
We are the developers’ builder
We build and project manage Christchurch’s leading commercial developments
Consortium Construction has been partnering with developers in New Zealand since 2004 and we continue to provide a simple one stop service for our clients - from concept to completion.
Design input, value engineering, project management right through to key handover, we pride ourselves in making our clients visions come to fruition.
Consortium may be a relatively small Christchurch construction company with a compact team, but we’re just as capable as national contractors of producing massive projects to a high quality. We always go above and beyond. We want the outcome to be as good as you do, and we want to be as proud of the project as you are.
We work with Consortium Construction because we can trust them. We trust them to give us the best price. We trust them to give us good people all the way through our projects. We trust them to build us good quality within a reasonable time frame. It’s critical to have that trust with your construction company.
Before we started working with Consortium, we considered a tender because of our budget. But we decided we’d rather work with Consortium to get the price right. Our initial build costs were too high, and Consortium were really good at bringing costs down to within our budget.
Last bit of waterblasting and final tidy up but otherwise ready to go….Massive achievement by Watene, Jordan and the Consortium Team and Subcontractors. Thanks to all who participated in making this a great looking development. On to the next one!
The Big Push is on. Some great looking and high profile projects going to get knocked over in the next 10 days. Photos taken on a cold Saturday Arvo with rain pissing down but the sites were still moving forward. Cheers to the Consortium Team and the Subs onsite who were making sure it gets there.
Phil O'neil and the boys at our Langdons and Oakland site got the Ground floors framed last week and then had 2 nice half days of lifting on Monday and Wednesday to land the 1st floor pods. Roof on, windows in and into cladding from next week. Great Job to Phil and the boys and also our friends at VIP Frame & Truss and Titans Cranes.
Keen to get out into the Great Outdoors in comfort? Go see our Friends at CMG Campers who are now operating at their new purpose built Showroom and Workshop at 32 Nga Mahi Road. Another great project to be involved in with CMG. Great work Watene, Glen and the rest of the Consortium team along with the Subcontractors to get this extremely challenging site completed and looking great.
